Quilting Batting is a core layer material designed for quilted products, compatible with various face fabrics and placed between fabric layers. The quilting process consists of two key steps:

CNC machines are used for pattern design, parameter setting and precise positioning, with pre-programmed patterns to control stitch spacing, density and path for consistent, neat patterns.

Quilting equipment then performs the actual sewing, securing the Quilting Batting between fabric layers and forming attractive patterns while firmly bonding the Quilting Batting to the fabrics. 

Quilting is also a common processing method for nonwoven and textile composites. Multi-layer and multi-material lamination (e.g.,     woven fabric + nonwoven + film) can be applied to enhance strength, durability and combine the properties of different materials.

Various Quilting Batting types are available to meet quilted product requirements: spray-bonded wadding, hard wadding, soft wadding, loose wadding, water-washing wadding (a kind of spray-bonded wadding), etc. soft wadding offers high loft and warmth, ideal for bedding and sleeping bags; hard wadding provides excellent shape support, suitable for cushions, pillows and garment layers; water-washing wadding maintains stability after laundering, perfect for washable household goods and apparel.

With the popularization of quilting technology, applications have expanded from traditional bedding (quilts, mattresses) to spring mattresses, sofas, handbags, luggage, footwear, hats, garments and craft gifts.
