Product Description:
The raw material for Pre-oxidized PAN Felt is pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile fiber (PANOX) which is made from the polyacrylonitrile precursor fiber (PAN) by high-temperature treatment at 250-2800℃. This nonwoven is a thermal insulation material compounding silica aerogel with pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile fiber (PANOX) through a special process.
With high flame retardancy, a limit oxygen index (LOI) of over 45% and excellent thermal stability, pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile fiber (PANOX) has no melting, softening shrinkage or molten droplets during combustion, making Pre-oxidized PAN Felt a quasi-non-combustible material. It features excellent thermal insulation, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance and radiation resistance; It has suitable textile processability with advantages including a lightweight and soft texture, good water absorption, easy cutting and installation. It is also a well-known thermal insulation material with low thermal conductivity whose insulation performance is 3 – 5 times that of traditional materials.
With a thickness of 1.5 – 5mm, Pre-oxidized PAN Felt is an ideal external protective layer for people and objects requiring distance from the heat source; it also easily wraps objects with uneven surfaces. Pre-oxidized PAN Felt can operate continuously at 300 ℃ without aging and shrinkage, and is non-combustible even at 1000 degrees.
